What does body pain mean?
Often, when some clients tell me that they have this pain and that pain, I secretly think “that is wonderful.”
I know that the pain itself is uncomfortable and that makes us miserable in many ways. However, we are actually catching the messages and signs from our body as a form of “pain” and it is a good sign.
Many of us have passed this point where we can feel the pain as "pain." We become “numb” with all kinds of “pains” and that is a little bit more complicated because we will need to re-remember what pains feel like. We get numb with the pain because we keep ignoring the sign from our body and suppress the pain. Eventually, our body gives up because this person does not do anything for the body, hence, numb.
So, when I hear that people have “pain,” I really want to tell people that “congratulations! Your body is still not giving up on you!”
Once we acknowledge the pain, it is important to look deep inside ourselves and ask ourselves “what is the very root of this pain?”
One day, my friend told me that she has a backache all of the sudden. I was thinking “ah, back ache is often caused by financial worries” but I did not tell her because she was thinking it was due to her bed mattress. So I kept quiet at that time but was planning to tell her later when she would not be so attached to the idea of bed mattress.
A few days later, I asked her about her back ache and I told her the possible root cause of the pain (financial concern).
And then, she paused for a moment and told me “oh, yah, true. It has gone now. And yah, it is true. I somehow managed to pay all the bills on time and from that day, the pain is not there....”
The important thing when we experience the pain is to look inside of us. What is being suppressed? What is bothering us now? What are my worries and concerns?
Once we acknowledge that we have this and that in us, and then they will be released faster as a form of pain (the pain needs to reach its maximum point before it heals).
“Pain” is neither good or bad. “Pain” is a “pain.” The moment we judge this pain, it becomes bad.
The pain can lead you to understand your current condition that will help you in a profound way...
